The existence of Torquigener flavimaculosus Hardy & Randall, a lessepsian species that belong to family Tetradontidae was first reported from the Fethiye Bay of Mediterranean coast of Turkey. It`s known that this Indo-Pasific originated species scatters along the southeastern Aegean Sea to Rhodes Island. This study reiterated the existence of this species in Mersin Bay of Turkey.
