The study were carried out between October 2015 and July 2016 through 8 experiments by using multifilament turbot gillnets, mesh sizes of 320 mm. A total 816.798 kg fish were caught during experiments which consist of 100.139 kg turbot (Scophthalmus maximus) as target species and 716.659 kg thornback ray (Raja clavata) as non-target species. In addition, 2 short-beaked common dolphin and 7 harbour porpoise specimens were entangled incidentally in the nets. Differences between seasonal catch compositions of turbot gillnets were found significant (P<0.05). Keywords : Scophthalmus maximus, Raja clavata, turbot gillnet, catch compositions, CPUE
