Regard to detection and spread of fish pathogens can be obteined quick and reliable information thanks to techniques such as polymerase chain reaction (PCR), restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP), Pulse-field gel electroforesis (PFGE), and multiplex PCR. Thus can be prevented outbreak diseases, reduced so that creation of antibiotic resistant bacteria and cost of treatment in aquaculture. In this paper, common molecular techniques are reviewed for detection and epidemiology of fish pathogens and their application are described. Keywords : Aquaculture, fish pathogens, molecular methods
