It was achieved to spawning from Tub Gurnard catched in wild and adapted to culture medium was made on June 2011. LHRH-a
(C56 H78 N16 O12 xC2 H4 O2 yH2 O) hormone was used for stimulating spawning from female individulas. It was not required to use
hormone for male individuals. Male and female individuals were holded in different adaptation tanks at 15°C. Spawning from
Tub Gurnard was occured after 4 days from treatment of hormone. Spawning was occured from only one of the four female
individuals which was treated hormone. Once 116g eggs were obtained from one famale. Eggs were transparent, pelagic and
spherical. Eggs had to include one or more oil drop. Mean radius of Tub Gurnard's spawn was measured as 1,25±0,25 mm and
radius of oil drop was measured meanly 0,27±0,010 mm. Fertilization rate of obtained spawn was 52%. This assay is first study
in spawning from Tub Gurnard in our country. Also, it will contribute to add one more alternative species to current cultured
species.
