Meat Yield Analysis of catfish (Capoeta trutta Heckel, 1843) and Shiraz (Capoeta umbla Heckel, 1843) Living Tunceli Uzunçayır Dam Lake

As a result of the investigation, the highest consumable meat rate of C. trutta was determined at XI. age group (%60.08), the lowest at VI. age group (%55.23) though at C.umbla the highest ratio was determined at II. age group (%63.40) and the lowest ratio was at the I. age group (%54.65). For total samples head, internal organ, skin, carina, fin and the ratio of consumable parts at C. trutta were determined as % 10.62; %17.22; % 7.75; % 3.73; % 2.78; % 55.57; respectively however these values were determined as % 12.40; % 11.51; % 8.25; % 3.67; % 2.25; % 61.92 for C. umbla.
