The diets of angel fish juveniles were formulated as isonitrogenous (47%) and isocaloric (2361 kcal kg-1), and the fry were fed 90 days.

The experimental results showed that the best weight gain and specific growth rate were found for control and 15% hazelnut meal diets. These data were reduced after 15% hazelnut meal replacement levels. Feed conversion ratio and protein efficiency ratio were significantly deteriorated after 35% hazelnut meal replacement levels. Condition factor, 15% external to the group (P<0.05) differences were not significant. Survival rate ranged between 93.1 (0% HM I.Grup) and 79.9% (35% HM IV.Grup), and external to two group (P<0.05) differences were not significant.

As a result, with the addition of 15% hazelnut meal in rations of angel fish fry optimum growth was realized and the increase of hazelnut meal in feed have positively affected economic performance. Keywords : Feed formulation,Fish meal,Feeding,Specific growth rate
